A Note about Studies in Language and Literature in Spanish

The Subject Specific Guide for Studies in Language and Literature is used for Extended Essays in all Language A papers. This means you will follow the guidance for topic selection, types of sources, treatment of topic and formatting of the essay, etc. for all three categories as students who are doing the English language EE, only of course your source texts and supporting materials will be in Spanish. The entire EE, including the reflections on the RPPF, must be done in Spanish.

Before you open the essay and the RPPF, take a look at the

assessment to see what grade was achieved on a particular paper.

Alternately, you may wish to open and read the EE and then guess

how well it scored, but be sure to CHECK THE GRADES!

You may use Wikipedia and google to gain background information about your topic; however, the sources you cite in your paper must be well-respected publications.
